After completing Ms. Rutty’s kitchen project, she asked us to come back to fit her a new family bathroom.
Again the theme was to keep the farmhouse feel, but to try and give it a modern twist. We designed in a fantastic free standing roll top bath together with a modern feeling shower cubicle with a glass and chrome screen.
Modern taps incorporated into timbers panelling finished the look, with the walls finally painted the same colour as the outside of the existing building.
This bathroom's theme is that of a more period feel. With the standalone roll top bath, you immediately get that feeling of what is to come.
With the whole room clad in tongue and groove timber boards and painted white the farmhouse style is instant. A natural black slate floor again gives that period feel and contrasts with the bright white paint and bath.
With this shower cubicle neatly placed in the corner. the bathroom is complete. Travertine brick tiles are chosen and laid vertically with a chrome thermostatic shower valve and shower rail.
